open position :: Bartender

We are seeking extremely personable, top notch multitasking bartenders to join our Brass + Bone team. You will work hand-in-hand with our leadership team to conceptualize cocktails + create a top notch guest experience.

Brass + Bone is an artisan cocktail lounge + venue located in downtown Perryville, MO with lounge expansion happening in 2023. 

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Master the creation of all Brass + Bone signature cocktails

  • Properly represent the company in appearance + in actions

  • Demonstrate a passion + willingness for excellence in performance

  • Greet guests in a timely + professional manner

  • Engage guests in a consistent, clear + warm way, all equally 

  • Guide guests through their experience by providing details of our food + beverage products 

  • Ensure that all of the items delivered at the bar meets standards

  • Seek creative opportunities to enhance the overall guest experience

  • Push the boundaries of creativity + keep the north star of the best bars of the world as the target mark for success

  • Complete all assigned side work duties for the shift

  • Maintain the highest safety, cleanliness + sanitation standards 

  • Participate in ongoing staff testing or continuing education activities provided by Brass + Bone

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience bartending; strong preference for candidates who have worked at a leading cocktail-focused bar 

  • Knowledge about balanced cocktail development

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • A creative passion for quality in cocktail + service industry

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand, lift + bend for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to bend + lift to 50 lbs.

  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion, movement + navigation throughout a bilevel venue

  • Must be able to remain focused in a fast-paced + ever-changing environment

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends + holidays
